3/13/20 - Due to a critical shortage of disposable face masks, PPE and so many other vital healthcare supplies, I’ve been asked to make face masks for a group of local healthcare providers and their staff. We have also been making these for non-healthcare providers and for anyone who just wants another level of protection. These masks are made to be worn alone and they can also be worn over a N95 respirator mask.

*All of our Ankara fabric is directly from Ghana and Nigeria in West Africa.  

WE REALLY LOVE SEEING EVERYONE ENJOYING THE DIFFERENT FABRICS! 

• *Constructed from tightly woven 100% cotton with filter pocket included  

• *Signature, soft, white combed cotton inner lining that is breathable and irritation free

• *Can be washed and reused repeatedly as needed

• *1/8 - 1/4 inch wide, comfortable stretch elastic. Adjustable elastic added mid-June 2020.

• *Available in a variety of sizes, even for children.

• *Prior to modern, disposable masks, washable masks were the standard use for hospitals.

• *Wear with pleats facing down.

• *Helpful in protecting others if you have a cold, cough, sneeze or you just aren’t feeling well.

Naokeidoe Creations has donated masks and soap to health care workers and first-responders. We are grateful to be of assistance in such a time as this.    

Our design has a filter pocket opening on the inside lining for an additional filter layer such as a recommended coffee filter, paper towel, HEPA filter, etc.  Cut your filter to fit center area about an inch or two beyond the nose/mouth and insert into opening.  Discard filter daily.  It is suggested that you wash your mask daily.  Remove filter before washing.
